Kishani Perera

From the finest showrooms across the globe, to the bespoke gems of local artisans, Interior Designer Kishani Perera relies on a multitude of resources to create beautiful spaces that have seemingly evolved over decades rather than months. This ability to blend the reclaimed with refined, the ordinary with ornamental, has attracted a loyal following of celebrities, musicians, entrepreneurs, and many more who have come to depend on her inventive use of resources to create homes that are both chic and livable. From uniquely decorated interiors to ground up construction, Kishani carefully cultivates each home with a holistic view which begins with considerations that respect not only the environment, but most importantly the health and wellbeing of her clients. Through curated, non-toxic materials and elements implemented during the construction process, and thoughtful furnishings and finish choices which encourage health, rather than hinder it, we all deserve Healthy Homes™ which, of course, also happen to be beautiful!

Known for her unique vision and innovative approach, magazines such as In Style, Traditional Home, House Beautiful, Town and Country and People, to name a few, have also been drawn to her cosmopolitan flair and passion for bygone eras. Not only has her work and expertise as both a designer and style maker been featured in countless publications, this UCLA grad was even approached by American Express to represent both their company and hers in a national ad campaign. In 2012 a vibrant coffee table book of Kishani’s work, entitled Vintage Remix, was released by Abrams, featuring an introduction and forward by long time clients Molly Sims and Gary Oldman. And recently, she was named one of LA’s top 20 Designers of 2019 by The Hollywood Reporter.

When not collaborating with her eclectic group of clients, or indulging her workaholic tendencies, Kishani can be found scavenging the city for hidden treasures, singing at the top of her lungs in traffic to anything from indie to oldies, baking up vegan treats, and staring at the sea with her pugs, enjoying all the beauty that this world has to offer.

THE TEAM

Megan Padilla

Growing up in New York City gave Megan Padilla early exposure to a broad range of arts and culture. The rhythm of the city and the multicultural mix were early influences and instilled an interest in the contrast between new and old – luxe touches paired with found items with a story to tell. Megan received an MFA in Interior Design from George Washington University after a career in marketing and public affairs.  She brings a broad range of experiences to her work at Kishani Perera Inc., including a knack for creative problem-solving.  Megan lives in LA with her husband and dog, Mr. Pants. She is always in search of a good book, a new restaurant to try, and interesting vacation destinations.

Kaitlin Lienhoop

Born and raised in Columbus, Indiana, Kaitlin has always appreciated the beauty that surrounded her in the built environment. Modern lines and an emphasis on materiality are components of design from her architecturally-renowned hometown that continue to influence her design choices today. After majoring in Interior Design and minoring in Spanish at Purdue University, Kaitlin traveled abroad and then began her design career in Indianapolis, Indiana, designing commercial and residential projects for three years. Today, she finds herself starting a new chapter immersed in the diversity of Los Angeles, where she can embrace the different cultures, languages, and design influences around her.

Olivia Polger

Olivia has always had a passion for homes and all they represent: community, safety and comfort for those that they belong to. Her interior design is inspired by a plethora of aesthetics pulling inspiration from modern, mid-century, industrial, and rustic, blending them together to create a warm, relaxed, minimalist vibe. Olivia originally worked in tech public relations, which helped her to develop excellent communication and client management skills, but she felt creatively unfulfilled. She realized her personal affinity for helping friends and family curate their own spaces was a calling. She then went on to work for a Los Angeles-based real estate developer to learn the design & development process from start to finish. Olivia works remotely and resides in Denver, CO with her girlfriend, Nikki, and French Bulldog, Charlie. When she’s not working, you can find her skiing, shopping, or working on décor for her new home.

Liv Falcey

A Boston native, Liv grew up with an architect father and history-loving mother who fostered her fascination and appreciation for historic architecture. While attending college in Pennsylvania, Liv studied Spanish and Art History, with a focus in architectural history. After undergrad, she worked for several years in marketing for architecture firms in Boston before deciding to pursue a certificate of interior design at UCLA Extension and relocating to Los Angeles in May 2021. In her new chapter of working in the interior design field, Liv draws inspiration from fashion (she spent several years working for Ralph Lauren brands during and after college), as well as her studies in art history, and she takes great pleasure in seeing the parallels between the design, fashion, and art worlds and how they continually inform one another. In LA, Liv feels lucky to experience a new design environment (and climate!), and when she’s not working or in class, Liv enjoys exploring different corners of the city, seeing live music, seeking inspiration at art museums, hiking, and reading.
